Alarm National Performance Model for Risk Management in the Public Services

The eagerly awaited National Performance Model for Risk Management was launched by Alarm Director, Peter Andrews, at last Alarm Annual Conference in Bournemouth. The model sets out how public bodies can progress  their risk management maturity from engaging with the organisation to driving it. The Model will be supplemented by an in-depth question set that will allow public services to benchmark their risk management progress and systematically collect evidence to demonstrate robust risk management processes. Alarm is also partnering with CIPFA to develop and launch a risk management benchmarking club in 2010. The Model can be downloaded from the Alarm website: www.alarm-uk.org
