Harrie Scholtens will join the team of PRIMO as public governance expert, starting Monday 1st of July 2019. With his extended international network, his knowledge of the public domain and his systematic efforts in the last years on the interface of quality and risk management he brings new impulses to the development of the association in Europe.
Harrie is a former city manager of Goedereede en Middelharnis, is connected with the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA) in Maastricht and has distinguished himself as program manager of the European Public Sector Award (EPSA). For his European endeavours related to risk management as an integral part of good governance he received in 2018 the PRIMO Risk Management Award.
Harrie will commit himself to strengthening the portfolio of the association by developing new initiatives, focusing on new organisations and consolidating present products and services. Martin Kuipers, chairman of the Dutch association and Jack Kruf, president of the European association, are both very happy with his arrival: “With his energy, knowledge, network and devotion Harrie will bring a new impulse for the development of our association.”
